According to county records, SpaceX is proposing to build a fenced, gravel compound on a 0.73-acre site at 3350 County Road 675 in Myakka City. The facility would house 40 satellite antennas and one headend equipment rack – all designed to support high-bandwidth, low-latency data communications for both uplink and downlink services.

The location is strategic, sitting just south of Lake Manatee and west of Waterbury Road. While it might seem like a small footprint, this facility could be part of something much bigger for our region.

This Manatee County project comes as SpaceX is significantly expanding its Florida operations.
